Terrible FPS on borderlands?

Ok so here is my problem whenever i start to play borderlands the game is at an very bad framerate with everything maxed i get about 30fps with my specs i should bee higher i believe help me out please.





Specs:

GTX560ti
I5 2500k
8Gb Corsair Vengance
1tb HDD
650Psu
1920x1080 Resolution

Im just downloading the patches now i will report back if it helps.

I have done that with dynamic shadows 20fps without about 38-50fps

Are you forcing ambient occlusion in the nvidia control panel? If so, disable it and see if that helps. Utterly destroys the FPS in games that dont support it fully, ie bioshock for example.
