Terrible Superleague crash at Brands Hatch today

Apparently he's 'only' broken a leg and is on the way to hospital. Hopefully true and lucky lad if so.
 
It just shows how safe these cars are. Horrible crash, glad that no one was majorly hurt.
 
Bad accident in the Supersport race at Silverstone as well today.

Lascorz and Tamburini were taken to the medical centre, where it has been confirmed Lascorz is suffering from concussion and Tamburini has a broken collarbone.

If that's all Lascorz is a lucky, lucky boy. Tamburini got away lightly as well as he went into the wall pretty hard.
 
The way that spun after impacting the barrier reminded me so much of Jeff Krosnoff's accident in the CART series many years ago. Thankfully, this guy survived, that was horrendous :o
 
I remember watching a program about that with Johnny Herbert. He shattered both his legs and part of his rehabilitation was jumping up and down in a swimming pool, 3 weeks after the accident. He raced in F1 the next season and finished 4th in his first race in Brazil iirc :o
