Sorry if this has been mentioned. Had a qquick look and didn't see another post anywhere.

I just found out, I think he a great storyteller and I'm a big fan. This made me feel sad.

Nah, seriously, it's a really sad story, but as he said himself he's not dead yet! He'll have plenty of writing left in him.

Since Practchett jokes about it himself I can probably get away with.... A man goes to a doctor for a check up, doctor examines him, he says "I've got bad news, you've got cancer and Alzheimers", he goes "Thank god I don't have cancer".
