Anybody got a copy of this?
I got mine for £29.99, only £5 more than the game is retailing at now :)

Bonus content is good, the DVD is pretty insightful... showing the creation of the game and the strain it puts on the creators in the final build up to E3 before they put on their big presentation. I actually LOLed at the two people walking around taking close up pictures of walls and floors to get reference shots :o

Was quite shocked when one of their motherboards melted as well  They experienced bugs with the early version of the game that forced the user to power off the machine, happened multiple times before the computer just didn't come back on at all.

Watching the bug/beta tester on the sofa was pretty interesting, all he did was sit there and play the game and talk to the coders and say "this doesn't work"... got some funny bits from that part though.

*Running through a dungeon early in the game*
"I think I'll sure the fire spell..."
"Don't... it buggers up the game later on, we haven't fixed it yet..."
"I'll just use it on the rat..."
"No!"
*Casts Flare*
"HE USED THE FIRE SPELL!"
"Nothings wrong!?"
"Now you don't have any lighting spells later in the game"
"Crap..."

The Septim Gold Coin is pretty nifty, although its just lying on my desk at the moment. :-/
Haven't read the bonus book about the Empire yet, I've flicked through and it does look interesting though.

Anyway, anybody else got the Collector's Edition, what're your thoughts on it?
For whats basically a few quid more than the game is retailing at now, it's well worth it :)

Slightly disappointed at it actually. Coin is tackier than I thought it would be :( Bonus stuff is a bit poop as well. Video is short and sweet but the trailer can be downloaded from loads of places. And a book to read?

They could have included a bit more IMO. Like extra content to the actual game itself - new horse type maybe? Special CE city?

well the coin is cool, but its still in the bag. Not sure what to do with it but i was suprised it was actualy metal :)

Had a flip through the book in the hope it might give some hints for some intereting places to go but nothing really stood out. It was really just going on about the history of the areas that arent in the game, the bits on the outside of the map :(

The "Making Of" was pretty interesting though. But with all the build up to E3 they just zipped over it and you didnt really get an impression of what went on there. I would have liked to see the demo on the cinema screen with the audience reaction, but they just flipped over that.

And just how much of a bong puffer did the guy who does the trees come across as! They actualy seemed pretty down to earth people considering they were programmers, not the usual american coding nerds at all. Apart from the guy with all the boxed toys in is cubicle.

All in all pretty good, but im glad i paid 25 for it from the shop that cannot be named.

i was suprised the coin was metal to lol had money on a cheap bendy plastic throw away. Yet what can you do with it??? Nevermind still worth it for the detailed history book if i can tear myself away from the game long enough to read it. Haven't seen the DVD yet but typical content to a collectors edition really. All in all a good purchase.

It's not bad, got it for £30 and probably worth the extra £5. I like the coin! It's not supposed to be practical, you silly people ;-)

I put it in my wallet with other coins and was very tempted to try and pay someone with it...

I'd like to see them work together and make a game like this without any social skills.

I got this version for the xbox for 49.99 and I'm let down, the map should have been cloth and the book should have had more relevant information info on towns and cities maby little nuggets on secret caves\castles a list of spells more info on how to make basic potions and a section on what type of beasts you could come across.

Managed to get it for £25 a day before official UK release :)

Watched the DVD before I played the game, the coin is nice and Ive read the first few pages of the book, but other then that Ive been ingame :)
