Tesco 20% games this week

A heads up,

Just nipped into my local Tesco Extra (York) and they've got a 20% sale off all chart CDs, DVDs and Games this week only.

Now, they already sell most 360 games (almost all I think) for £39.97 so that's an extra £8 off.

So.. got myself PD0 collectors edition for £31.97 (was unsure whether I was going to play this title but couldn't resist). Can't be bad.

Staff discount card gives an additional 10% off, so 30% in total.

£28 for a game is pretty good.

I'll have to try and see tonight if the local one does it... needing a new game to play

- Have only played PGR3 offline for around 30 minutes and had a few online races
- Got Dead Or Alive 4 which I've played and completed once and that's it
- Got Kameo which hasn't been anywhere near my Xbox 360
- Got Ridge Racer 6 which hasn't been anywhere near my Xbox 360


Just trying to work my way through Madden 30 years of franchise mode and also have gone back to playing Condemned which I stopped playing after Chapter 3. Usually end up just playing those little Xbox Live Arcade games too addictive.

But since February is a very quiet month for the Xbox 360 (apart from Full Auto, I don't think there is any other new releases, and with most of my March preorders having been delayed) I need a game to keep me busy.

If only our Tesco in Stortford sold 360 games! arhhh! (they have never sold/advatised ANY 360 stuff since day 1!) May have to go for a little drive tonight and see what I can see in other Tesco.

Just bought COD2 in Game this morning (like a complete idiot) for £49.99

It's still sealed, so hopefully i'll buy another copy from Tescos tonight, and take my other one back to Game!

Northampton extra store had this 20% off offer on as well....shame the only 360 stuff they had was wired controllers & memory cards no 360 games at all. Bummer really as I'm staff so get the extra 10% on top!

I ended up buying the Jose Gonzales CD for cheap instead
