At £2.44 for 8 stubby bottles these are such a good buy.

4.8% and they actually taste VERY nice. Prefer them to Stella, Carling, Fosters stuff.

Anyone tried these?

Agreed, they're a bargain and really quite tasty. Saw lots of people with multiple boxes of them in Tesco last night.

I've been bleating on about these in the Now Drinking thread for months! Get with it! They've gone up in price quite considerably in recent months, but still a good price.

ASDAs equivilent, Biere De Luxe is a bit yeastier but still nice. However, their cans of Pilsner are fantastic, and cheap.

Pretty sure it says it's made in France, whilst Grolsch is made in Holland. Though many of these cheaper products are indeed premium products without the image (you can often pick up good Whiskies in Aldi/Lidl that are renamed).

Another thumbs up for Biere Speciale! Been my supermarket larger of choice for years due to its value for money

Not sure what it "actually" is, but it says brewed in France - maybe Saint Omer?
