Somewhere in the middle.
At £2.44 for 8 stubby bottles these are such a good buy.

4.8% and they actually taste VERY nice. Prefer them to Stella, Carling, Fosters stuff.

Anyone tried these?

Great value I think :)

Hmmmm.....looks like popping to Tesco to check this out......make a change from Aldi's st.etienne :p

"Apparently" it's Grolsch, just unbranded.

Pretty sure it says it's made in France, whilst Grolsch is made in Holland. Though many of these cheaper products are indeed premium products without the image (you can often pick up good Whiskies in Aldi/Lidl that are renamed).

Edited my post because I'm an idiot.

If it was any of the big ones, I imagine it would be Heineken. I can see a taste test coming up...

..any excuse :p

Good to know I'm not the only person who isn't afraid to step off the mainstream beer trail, Also ALDI do a nice ten pack same strength and size, can't mind the name known in this house "the cheap £3 jungle juice".

At a price like that, you wouldn't moan even if it tasted bad, but its good! WIN! Thanks for the heads up!

Another thumbs up for Biere Speciale! Been my supermarket larger of choice for years due to its value for money :)

Not sure what it "actually" is, but it says brewed in France - maybe Saint Omer?
