I do not know the story behind it but Tesco's email has been pathetic since 2nd August. One would have thought that a company with Tesco's resouces would have been able to sort it out quickly so i assume it is something quite serious. In the last few days it seems to have settled into a pattern where it is up most of the day and down from late evening - however some emails are still being received days late. From 2nd to about 7th August it was down more than up and almost impossible to use.Tescos have been very crafty by updating the status date every day so that it looks like the problem has been there for less than 24 hours. Hopefully they will fix it shortly to restore some faith in the Tesco name. (note: I mainly use it via an email client such as Outlook Express rather than web mail but I believe the problem is general across Tesco email).
