Wish I could go back to putting £10 a time in. That used to be half a tank for me. :eek:

I read on some money saving forum that as fuel is quite heavy, regular fuelling is more efficient. Seems like a waste of time to me though.

Not quite, as buying one pint of milk 4/6 times is more expensive than buying a 4/6-pint bottle, whereas petrol is a flat charge per volume

Not everyone can afford to put a whole tank of fuel all at once. Often I'll fill the tank on pay day which normally does me anything from 1 1/2 to 3 weeks then only put enough in to get me to pay day again.
