Tesco's separately authorised?

Hi

The link in the FSAs website to registered companies is either broken or not working on my PC so does anyone know if Tesco's (personal finance) isseparately authorised by the FSA in thatany money invested is protected under the FSCS?

The FSCS will protect savings if they are invested under schemes regulated by the FSA, which in this case they are.

Tesco Personal Finance is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. TPF is entered in the FSA's Register and its Register number is 186022.

Which means currently the first £35,000 of your savings are protected, but there are plans afoot to increase this.
