Do you get the discounts only if you have a Clubcard. I.e. just paid for my weekly shop and presented my clubcard and out popped discounts for this and that one of which was a £6.00 discount if I spend £40 or more.

Do you only get these if you have a Clubcard, or do you get them regardless?!?

That's regardless, however with clubcard points they're sent to your home as money off vouchers mate. They're worth far more in "Clubcard deals" which can essentially quadruple their value in places like restaurants.

£20 in clubcard vouchers is worth £80 in food (always excludes drinks) in restaurants, which frankly is awesome. You have to convert them online, chuck in the number on the clubcard, they post out the vouchers for the restaurant you want (we get ours within 3 working days) then it's time to munch!

We've also used our at Safestore to pay for almost half of a years worth of storage.

In short, make sure you're address is registered to your clubcard!

£16 in vouchers for Tesco, £64 in clubcard deals although generally they'll send you a £10 and £5 voucher. If you didn't register your address etc when you got the card get it setup asap as it's worth doing :) Can also use them for airmiles, which I only just noticed and will have to have a chat with the other half about!
 
I just paid for 2 flights to get me to the abu dhabi F1 in november using Airmiles made totally from Clubcard - Took me 2 years of a lot of diesel ;)
 
You need a clubcard to get those vouchers, they're "clubcard bonus vouchers".
I've worked in tescos nearly 2 years now, people without a clubcard get nothing.

Clubcard holders get those bonus vouchers, they're just to get you back in the store or get you to spend more, a lot of them will be extra points and stuff. They also get clubcard points, which are worth about 1p each in money off vouchers. or you can convert them into other money off vouchers and they're worth more.

5k airmiles for a ticket to dhabi, so 10k for two people which is about £400 of clubcard vouchers. You get 1 point per £1 spent so thats £40k spent. Obviously there are various deals that allow you to accumulate more points. For quite a while they were running double points on fuel and I was able to get £100s in vouchers from filling up work vans at Tesco :)
