If you are tuning the Mustang you will be able to select between Ford and Saleen tuning when you get there.

All the tuning shops are in the lower right part of the map, and should all be detailed on the paper map you get with the game if that helps

Phew! Just finished all the single player races/trials/etc.

Just need a couple of hitchhiker/delivery missions and that's them.

Hardest one for me was the Triumph Time Attack, could manage the time within a second but constantly getting hit thus adding to the penalty.

Guys I've been having an issue for the past few hours that have got me a bit concerned.

Started playing at around 23:00 tonight and upon firing up the game, I was greeted with "Corrupt save game found, do you want to remove it? Yes/No". Now I selected No and continued into the game. All my money/cars were there and it was fine. I went into my house and back out again forcing the game to save again - hoping that would cure the problem.

I just finished playing and thought I'd reload the game to see if the problem had resolved itself, but I got the same message again, yet all my cars/money is still intact.

Any ideas?

Weird i heard of the corrupt game fault but not heard someone getting it and still able to continue.

Posted about it on the atari.com forums but it doesn't look good at all from what I've read there. Theres quite a few peeps who've lost a ton of work, so right now I count myself as very, very lucky that I can actually get ingame... It's a bit late atm but I think I'll avoid playing TDU until I read more about this issue tommorow morning.

Apparently backing up your saves to a mem card, and then restoring it has no effect. TDU still won't see the newly restored copy...

On that one (I think) where the road loops round on itself you can cut across the grass and save quite a bit of time, of course you take a bit of penalty but the saved time more than makes up for it.

Pretty sure it was that course.

What a stupid bug! If it's true that a player can't copy his savegame to a memory card without the main game's saves being corrupted, thats just totally daft. Going to try TDU without the card inserted now.

Ta for info there mate.

Edit:Took out the memcard and tried TDU. The corrupt save msg popped up sadly, answering no to the delete prompt just made it re-appear and I couldn't even get ingame.
Edit: Inserted the memory card and the prompt still popped up, but I can now get ingame lol. To those reading this, DO NOT backup your TDU savegames to a memory card or you could end up like me.

Whats the current fastest car in the game ?

I've currently got a stage 3 Enzo, F1 and Saleen S7 is there anything much faster. Whats with some cars managing 400 MPH+ on the online scoreboard in the 170 mph into heavy traffic mission. Especially given the top few are Saleen S7 in around the 390 MPH mark, at stage 3 its only meant to do around 260ish.

They glitch those scores melchy by hitting traffic you get "thrown" from the crash which sends you at mad speeds

Thanks, i wondered if it had to be some sort of cheat or exploit. I thought i was doing ok getting a genuine 240ish in that mission. Easy way of making money though

As McDaniel said, they're glitched.

The highest top speed is either the McLaren F1 or the Koenigsegg, I forget which but they're close. I think the Saleen is the fastest accelerator though.

Thanks, anyone tried the Jag XJ-220. I was having a right laugh with it earlier, handles like a barge but just brings a smile to your face for some reason.

Just open up the paper map and try to lock the gps onto the road where the tuners that you havent unlocked are, as soon as you pass them (close enough to get the press a to enter message pop up) they will unlock and show on the in game map.
