On this site it sources the games at different stores at different prices

http://www.find-games.co.uk/

Now it says at some stores it's for release tommorrow on the PC and others its released on the 2nd of March. When I visit the actual stores websites that are supposed to have it in stock tommorrow it also say's released tommorrow. Now I have rung most of these stores today apart from the online retailers and they are all saying it's not for release till 2nd of March yet their websites state otherwise. Has anyone managed to find somewhere that will have it in stock tommorrow? I don't want to order it online, I'd rather go pick a copy up. I had this game when I had my 360 and it was class :)

Pre-ordered mine on 22nd of Feb for delivery on 2nd of March from a reliable website. Now return to the website to see that the delivery has been put back until 16th of March. Can anyone else verify this or know the cause of delay????

just drive and race, it's all you need to do. top game. I did all the races and then moved on to the missions. Money starts to realy come in when you get to champion level.

Gah. Love this game but it's going to be annoying re-doing everything I did in the open beta. Especially the island tour race... over an hour for one race... eeek

Anyone played this online? Whats its like? Just a normal Racer?

Ive heard a lot of good things about this game. Played the demo on my mates 360 and really liked it.

I just went onto the website and it looks a cool game :)

The music is a bit strange listening to something called "road runner" by "jr walker" or sommit.

It looks like it's just a racing game tho  like NFS etc?

Yes,

This does look like a decent racer. I just got Toca Race Driver 3 on budget, and its excellent, but I was dissappointed with the in car view, Test Drive looks to have a better in car view..

Folks at work raved on about the 360 version so it must be fairly decent. TRD3 and Test Drive are by the looks different types of games though, so room for both.. :p

The in car views in TDU are 100% accurate as far as I can tell.

You need a high res to make them look really good though. I had issues running the game at 1680x1050 as it is quite complex looking and when i turned it down to 1024x768 interiors didn't look as good. Especially the clocks.

Think of it like NFS, but good, and with other people driving around (if you select to play online)

The island or map is HUGE. Thankfully when you've visited a place once, you can skip straight to it if you wish. I doubt you would get bored as there are 100s of miles to drive/race on.

The sound was awesome when I got it to work. I loved driving the Firebird, even though it was slow and I had to truly gun it to get past normal traffic, it reared and snorted when I put my foot down which made it great fun.

The game is millions of times better with a steering wheel imo. With true interior replications, driving with a Logitech G25 with proper clutch and gears should be awesome (Although I dont have one :( )

Overall MUCH better than NFS imo, much bigger, much better graphics, better physics (although there is room for improvement here, at least there was in the beta), the online free roam is awesome, there is tuning but only basic.. non of this ironing board spolier stuff.

Somewhere is selling it for £18 delivered. Bargain of the year tbh

Yea, big patch due out soon as well to make the handling more 'realistic' if I remember correctly.

Even though I sometimes found it tiring, a bit repetitive or just.....lacking in a little something, it was always enjoyable and I'd quite happily just go back to my pad, drag out the E-Type or similar and potter around for a while watching other racers go about their business, or try to find that last elusive tuning shop way off the beaten track.

Great police chases to be had as well! I too like the Firebird :D

Aye tbh I think the firebird was my fav car.

Yes 240mph in my tuned Enzo was "cool" but it just didn't seem to have the spirit of the firebird.

Turn off all the driving aids and burn out down the street at 20mph with that V8 grumbling whilst all the other kids blast past in their ferraris and mercs.

It seemed to have great handly characteristics, really floppy, like im sure it is in real life that just made me smile. 4 gears and 115mph top end for the win :D

Looking at the screenshots on the main site, the graphics look amazing. But looking at user posted screenshots from the PC version, the graphics don't look anywhere near as good

I hope its tomorrow. The site i sometimes use to get games says its the 16th of March.

Same here. As for the graphics, beefy machines should get a decent look and good framerate.. Have to wait and see I guess.

I wonder what the incar will look like at 1280 x 1024, as this is all I can run at due to limits on my TFT... Reason I'm only running a 8800GTS, no point getting any higher, screen wouldn't take it.

NFS games were alright, wasn't a big fan.
