ok installed xfi, and it works (Hoorah..hope it doesnt die in a month)
anyway, tdu wroked perfectly at whatever settings it chose this time. So im happy :D
did a transport mission and got 135k :)


edit:
tried again, got the xfi-no sound after i tried to change the res and it graphically glitched again.

Stupid game, guhh. Looks like this is gonna be on the shelf :/

Quick question, is it possible to back up my save games? I would like to store it on a zip and put on a CD or something. Don't fancy playing it all over again (not at this stage anyway).

edit: oh and while i remember, can't seem to find paint shops are they available on expert level afterwards?

All I've been doing is backing up the "Test Drive Unlimited" folder that's in "My Documents" :)

I had a corrupt profile the other day, so am backing up a lot now :( also just had it crash out. It said "lost connection to server" but just stayed on that, had to end task :(

I got onto that island, bit boring :( spent ages getting to the teleport thing aswell. It's a sort of easter egg I guess.

edit: yay finally got to Champion level :) time for some bike canage

I would've thought you could backup the savegame in mydocuments and then if you re-install windows or anything anytime, just re-install the game and put the savegames on again :confused:

I don't backup the whole TDU installation folder :)
 
Can someone help me with a few things?

Firstly, it may have been covered in this thread already, but how do i find friends on this game? Me and naffa load up the game, and we're both at the same place, but there's nobody there? Also, when i launch the game, i seem to be the only person in the server according to the player list.

How do you change your status to 'ready' or 'green' when there is a race between online players? For example, if you click on one of the orange races.

hmm, i rmemeber my first race i didnt see it, then looked around on my second race and it was there.
Called myself a prat for not seeing it, but swore it wasnt there before hand.
Mybe have to do something to get it? :/
 
heh, I sold a load of high priced A cars for $1000 earlier (Ferrari Enzo, McLaren GTR and some others). I bet someone filled their pants seeing those, each one was snapped up about 4 seconds after posting funnily enough! :)
