Test Drive Unlimited - Stutter

I replied to another thread about this but i thought i would create a thread about it as its a massive problem. When driving about the game split second stutters, when i got an achievement before while driving down the road the game actually stopped/stuttered for about 1 second and it made me crash. Im not playing online just single player. What can i do about it? is it my 360 or the game, not sure what my options are?

Well just tried to play again and if there are loads of cars on screen and you are driving fast etc its just stuttering like mad every few seconds, its going ot have to go back i think. Im gutted as i like the game. :mad:

Could be your console is on its way out...if you can get hold of another one and see how it runs on that...if you still get the stuttering then its probably the game...ill admit it does have its bugs here and there. Perhaps an update will solve those problems hopefully but dont know if Atari have any plans for an update....

How do you get the console changed?

Machine changed and its still doing it so i will just accept its the game and live with it, still means i have a new machine.

46" DLP tv running in 1080i, tried all other settings aswell but no difference. When i took it into game they tested it on their tv and it did it and they just denied it was doing it, i was like eh!!!

Your either exagerrating, or there is a serious problem somewhere.

I dont think im exaggerating. Two different consoles and it does it so it has to be the game, could it be hard drive v mem card related? as i have a mem card.

Just constant, its maybe just me being hyper sensitive as the staff in game couldnt see it and when they did they just said it was a "feature of the game". Is it worth exchanging the game do you think?

Good point actually, what car view are people using, im using the behind view. I didnt get any jerking on the inside view but i find it hard to play the game like that, i like to see the car
