Test drive with no sound!

Just bought Test Drive Unlimited installed it every thing running fine till i

changed the video setting then no sound in the game at all, has anyone else

had this? cant seem to do anything about getting it back changed the

settings back to what thay were still nothing

My system is AMD 4000+ with NVIDIA 7900GTX and sound card Creative

Sound Blaster Audigy 2

I've had this happen once. Alt-tab out of the game & then back in fixed it.

Had something similar, seems to mute certain things. Under the volume sliders there's a little yellow button, make sure they're lit up.

i think its just very buggy, if i run it full with 4 x aa i get glitching and sound is realy bad, if i di 2xaa its fine

occasionaly the glitching starts but u need to alt tab like someone said earlier

so jus try lowering the settings slightly

Try this:

run dxdiag
Under the "Sound 1" tab, change hardware acceleration to "Basic acceleration" (1 step from the left)

Sorted it updated my sound card driver and now it works
