I got my asus crosshair v formula-z today and after installing the tools and etc and restarting at the bottom right corner all of the sudden appears my windows version and etc which is considered a Test mode message, did some goggling and there is a cmd to do it (running cmd as admin) to remove it and after you restart its suppose to be gone but its not?? done this like three times so far and nothing!

Hi,

Not too sure what you mean by test mode. It seems to me that you have changed motherboards and Windows might need reactivating.

If you could post a screenshot it might help me understand bethere but from what you have written it might be a "activate windows" again issue.

Do a search in registry for the key "PaintDesktopVersion". In WinXP it was usually in HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop. If enabled it would show the Windows version number in the bottom right hand corner.
If it exists, set value to 0 to disable it.
