Apparently, bananas are good for you. :)

They are, they increase your concentration, I had a banana before passing my test (I had one before the test I failed as well, tho :p ) , I do notice the effect though, and I'll eat one before driving if I feel my concentration level has dropped :)

Don't chew gum whilst taking your test. You'll nervously chew on it and then will want to dispose of it and it'll distract you (well it did for my next door neighbour at the time!).

Try and clear your mind from it as much as possible, and look into tomorrow as just another driving lesson rather than a test - try and zone out the examiner (other than his instructions) and just focus on having a fun drive out. Don't spend too long practicing manoeuvers tonight as if you can't quite get them right you'll get yourself into a flap and make yourself nervous - which ain't good really. ;)

i got mysellf in a flap on friday cos i couldnt get the parallel park right :( it will be my 2nd one so i know whats going to happen

i just want to make sure everything goes well

Just be friendly, making as much conversation as you can, thats what I did on my second test, it sure did work wonders, the 1st test I just acted as if the examiner wasn't there and I think it got to the fella :p

The banana gives you a good burst of energy, but it wont be long lasting. I suggest eating the banana as close as possible to your lesson before the test to make the most of it.

Just relax tonight, take it easy, have a good night's sleep and don't worry. Think about tomorrow when you are smiling and texting everyone telling them you passed :)

Don't change the way you drive just because it's your test - it's not actually a test, all it is, is showing that you can drive safely. Don't think of the examiner as an examiner, imagine that he/she is your friend, and that they're giving you directions to their house. Don't get too worried when they mark the paper, it's probably just to tick the maneuver you just did. Think of it this way, your friend is sitting next to you, giving you directions to their house whilst completing a crossword puzzle. Just drive as you do, thats the best tip I can give.

try and strike up a conversation with him / her :) i ended up chatting to mine about cameras / photo processing the entire way round, he actually wrote the name of some software i reccomended him on the top of my exam sheet :D Passed with 2 minors a month and 4 days ago.
