Nice pictures, seems the lens has worked out nicely...is sure on my "to get" list when I go d-SLR in a month.

Love the depth of field as well, especially in the guinea pig photo, nice

I haven't had any real time to take any proper shots as yet, but I am pleased with these few I have taken and it seems sharp from 70-300

will be going to Duxfrod next weekend really looking forward to getting some good shots then.

I'm pretty sure I will be getting the Canon 350D, however I am looking into the Nikon D50 as well, what was it for you that swung you to get the D50 over the 350D :confused:

I went for the D50 because of its build quality, bigger size and I think it is really good value. It also feels just right in my hand.

Both good cameras and I would have been happy with either to be honest, but the size and build quality swung it for me in the end.

Those are the main reasons why people chose Nikons over Canons imo. Well, it certainly was for me!
