Last year I bought myself a Prinz Galaxy 400mm F/6.3 lens off that auction site.
Only just got around to giving it a good test at my local nature reserve which has screened off bird feeders.
First a couple of shots taken with the lens:
Not too good results. Being a manual focus F/6.3 lens it was quite difficult to focus. Quite a small aperture wide open, so lots of light / high iso needed for reasonable shutter speeds.
The lens in question:
However its got quite a high minimum focus distance, so not too good for taking pics of birds on feeders, my Tamron 70-300mm lens gives better results.
At least it was only a £5 lens!
