Hey guys,

What's the best way to test in my graphics card is faulty?

My card seems to have an intermittent fault; periodic lines in windows, vlc crashes and some games (mainly bioshock 2 atm) crashing or freezing and giving me a bsod!

Any suggestions?

Cheers

Some would say furmark but I would say run a game for extended periods of time like loop the crysis bench for an hour.

From what you describe I would say your card is faulty, monitor your temps, try different drivers.

The loop bench for crysis; is that present in the game or does it require an extra download?

Cheers!

Cheers mate, thanks for that.

I'm guessing I'll have to dig out and install crysis again to?

Just a quick update: I sent the card back to overclockers, they've tested it and said it's not faulty? That's fine but what else could it be then...

I was thinking maybe my psu (500w enermax liberty) is on its way out or maybe windows (vista) needs a fresh install

Any ideas?
