Testing, at this time of year??

Right, obviously the teams shouldnt be testing at the moment, right?

Then what could have possibly been going on over the weekend then for both the Renault team (4 trucks) and the Williams team (2 trucks) to be having a drive about on a monday morning? I spotted them heading up the A34 past Oxford way. Now I know that they are both located around there, but seeing as we are out of season now, I would have never expected to see them out this early on a monday morning.

How odd.

Renault had a car at the Autosport awards last night, don't see that needing 4 trucks though.

Ah, that would probably be it then.

They wouldnt be going out for rebranding from ProDrive now would they, as that would have been the wrong direction. Being that ProDrive are in Banbury, that is only up the road, not even anywhere close to the A34.

As for the Autosport awards, that would have been delivered by a contractor. The show cars usually get driven around by 3rd party companies (a friend of the family does this, not sure if he has a contract with Renault though).

I would image a re-livery would happen at a specialist wrapper, not at Pro-Drive

Wish there was a list of all tests, Kemble is only 6 miles away so even though its just straight line testing, you can still see and hear the cars and watch the team busy
