Testing graphics card performance?

Hi all.

I have just aquired a 5870 and want to test its performance as im not sure that it is running completely right.

I have just had a message saying the driver has stopped working and has recovered or something and had to restart my comp as it wouldnt let me do anything.

Is there any programs that will test its performance?

Also is there a problem with the driver that it shipped with? Could this be the problem?

3d Mark06/Vantage, Furmark etc is what I use.
