Testing graphics stability in Vista after Overclock

Hi all

I've just got a plain GF8800GT for my new rig and want to see if it will run a decent overclock. I know I can use Rivatuner for the overclock, but I can't seem to run 3DMark06 on Vista x64

With that being the case can anyone suggest any other graphics benchmark that does some loops and tests the stability?

For stability testing I found playing Crysis on very high settings at a high res gave the machine a VERY good work out, maxed out the temps nicely on CPU and gfx card. Much better than 3Dmark

A lot of Vista 64 systems seem to throw up problems concerning OpenAL with 3DMark06. Check this link to get it fixed. It worked for me.

You're right, I got that same error and found that very link. One OpenAL update later and it seems happy again
