testing memory stability in windows, how ?

any proggies to do this ?

im using an asrock dual 939 board and untill recent bios updates 1T was unstable at random points, now they claim to have fixed this so ive updated and set to 1T, 6,3,3, 2.5CAS (even though the rams CAS 2, for some reason it wont boot on CAS 2.0 ??? )

my rams corsair XMS

Corsair 2GB DDR XMS3200C2PT TwinX (2x1GB) CAS2

http://www.memtest86.com/ is the best place to start.

This is what I used to check my faulty memory- don't know if this is exactly what you're looking for? It will not work with 64bit versions of windows afaik.

thats a a util that wont run inside windows im afraid

Or you can use Orthos (dual version of SP2004 but still works on single cores)...

big mistake even booting into windows if you have not tested your memory.
