Just wanted to know if my memory benchmarks should be higher ?
man i need more memory dividers on my motherboard

though i do have the memory running at 8.8.8.24 @T1

Is that clock prime/LinX stable?

Well thats what i need help with at the mo.

the system is completely stable in games and windows ect ect

but under prime after 2 minutes it will freeze up...

im trying to get it stable. :/ i need to find someone with the same motherboard and cpu so they can help me get stable with voltages.

also i cant seem to find in my bios load line calibration cause my vcore fluctuates quite a bit when going from idle to load ect...

you need to up the vCore for sure.

More Testing.

I will post screen shots later.

Managed to get Intel Burn v2.1 16 threads Maximum Memory Stable 20 passes.

HT enabled.

im currently tweaking my memory
i reduced cpu clocks to 4.050ghz

But i changed my memory to 7.7.7.22 and it is stable :)

upping cpu clock now untill intel burn test fails.

then again for air its getting slightly toasty LOL 77c Load but i know i can go as high as 85c and still be safe cause nothing will task and i mean nothing will task your cpu like 16 threads of intel burn test 2.1

The biostar doesn't have this as far as I know, disable C1E enhaced halt state in the intel ppm/ turbo mode configurator to stop the fluctuations. The only problem is that it won't clock down when idling, so the core will run hot.

Mine does 4.2ghz and can run 3dmark06 using the 21x multi with C1E disabled or else the fluctuations causes it to crash on bsod on boot. What I've noticed on the board is that 21x multi overvolts the cpu by about 0.1v.

So say for 200x20 without turbo mode on, I need 1.312v which is +0.160vcore. For 200x21 (turbo mode on), I need 1.32v but if i was to set +0.180vcore, it'll overvolt it to 1.42v in windows. So to compensate for that, I need to set it to +0.100vcore in bios. The result however is that when in windows when it runs at 4ghz, it's only at 1.24v and 4.2ghz is at 1.32v. Since 1.24v is not enough for the 4ghz as it boots, it just crashes. By disabling C1E, it runs at 4.2ghz constantly and doesn't crash. (heat becomes a problem at this point).

That's just my experience though with the board. What voltages are you using?

CPUz shows

1.296v wich is +0.080 i think
but yeah your right when the 21x multi is used its showing under everest 1.30v exactly. so its overvolting me by 0.020+

I need to figure out how to fix the vcore fluctuations.

I remember when i use to have a nvidia 680I board and i used the pencle trick to stabilize the vcore :D worked a treat.

then i bought a asus rampage x48 and it had load line calibration, also worked a treat :D

but this board fluctuates and there doesnt seem to be a vcore option to stability the load at all times.

so is there a pencle trick out there to fix this ? or is it not worth it ?
though with a stable vcore my nvidia board i got a lot more stability. so it could also help with this board.

we shall see im still tweaking but i think i have found my 24/7 profile wich will be 4.0ghz even though i can go higher than that there really is no point at all
in real world senerios who is gonna notice it anyway and even with this cpu at 4.0 with HT enabled its not exactly a bottle neck is it lol

Ok here is a pickle for yas cause i have no idea why its doing this
Look at my screen in the above post.

do you see something diffrent.

im running higher speeds and yet my score in the above shot is faster ? why is that

i have tryed 7.7.7.22 aswell but it makes no diffrence, the shot above is faster yet when i clock higher i cant produce the same results...

thats weird. i cant reproduce that 22k copy score, anyone have any ideas ?

think i have tryed everything LOL

i just cant seem to get the L3 cache`s latency down...
what is causeing this arghhhhh

and Chaapa¬ai, every D0 can hit 4.0 on air. anything past that is bonus :)
though C1/C0s are harder to get there than D0`s
you just have to find the right tweaks and settings when you want to go 4.0+ higher with HT tech enabled. :)

Most D0s cant hit 4.2 with HT enabled at the same time on air, but watercooling should be no problem.

OK guys

Figured out why my memory and L3 latency was higher.

one of the Reapers sticks is damaged, the memory doesnt detect in bios but it does detect in windows but only with useing memory programs, taskmanager only see`s 4086 memory...

so im running in dual channel mode now not trichannel.

also i fixed the 20x multiplyer

the motherboard that i bought was infact dodgy, some of the pins in the socket where bent

i managed to use a exoscalple to straighten them then powered the system on and wadda ya know, all my bclk work now on 20x mulit right up to 210 as far as i have tryed LOL

now i ordered so blades to replace these reapers so i will be back to full functioning tommorow i hope. :)

man my eyes after looking at all those pins i bent one back to far aswell so i had to bend it back LOL

almost sheeet myself :)

I find if I overvolt my memory that the system will fail to find it. Try lowering your mem voltage and see if that helps.

Trust me mate the stick died.

the system wont detect one of the sticks even if i run optimized defaults. wich gives this ddr 1.50v instead of its default 1.65v
