Testing pre-owned RAM?

Hi guys,

Some RAM just arrived that I recently purchased from the MM. Just want to make sure there's no obvious faults with it.

Do I just need to run a memtest? How long would it usually take?

If the computer is working just fine with no normal errors chances are its fine, faulty ram rears its head quite obviously, but if you DO want to test it run intel burn test on maximum, it will populate ALL the ram (as much as poss) and stress the ram + cpu, if it can do an hour of that, your fine.

Otherwise download and run memtest on a boot cd and do that also :)
