Testing Some Editing Styles - Feedback

Ive tried out a few editing techniques that ive been looking up. These are my own version of them, rather than exact step by step copies of what id seen.

Just looking for some general feedback really. The Split Tone, for example, loses her crazy blue eyes and makes them super dark, so i guess i need to mask them and go the other way. Agree?

I felt Cross was my favourite too. The Heavy Portrait would have been nice but theres too much colour wash in the eyes. I need to work more on my masking.

It's only a JPG, and ive done no touching up, this was just a super fast test to see if im on teh right tracks. Its hard to find people who can criticise with experience in my day to day life and if im staring at photos all day i lose objectivity!

And yeah the make-up. Little beast broke into Nanna's face cream and applied it liberally.
