Testing stability outside of windows.

Been playing around with my E6300 again and beleive ive found the limit of my ram using memtest bootable cd,, my question is this.

Are there any bootable programs that will run in either dos or linux that can stress test the cpu like prime95 does in Windows.??

I ask this because on a couple of occasions ive been doing some extreme OC'ing and testing within Windows its corrupted my install and i've had to start from sctarch

Any suggestions please.?

You can boot from a live cd

and then load the software from usb stick or hdd

.

Other than that im afraid there is only memtest for outside windows.

Works in Ubuntu so thats perfect I can stress test my overclock without risking my Windows install nice

There's a linux version of Prime95.
