chuckle... No it was starting point of nice to have everything , I'm in the process of coming down to budget, including dropping that to 8...

the 16 was partially to maintain the same ram at the same price as aesthetically it would look better , it would be there if he needs it at a later date (still at school and doesn't have a direction yet but intelligent so potentially rendering etc (Catagorically NOT NEEDED at the mo ) and I have no idea how the ram prices will go if and when ddr3 is superseded I know ddr2 went up etc.


and PSU wasn't on there yet either... was just testing for advice thread when I'm a bit more sorted ...

I'm hoping incog windows will allow me multiple baskets then he can see the price points..
