You've probably had this question thrown at you a million times, so here's one million and one :p unable to get past 3hrs 50 mins on prime95 I switched to OCCT, and my 3570K @4.5GHz = 1.288V and 65c. This runs continuously over the prime time test, so am I considered stable? incidentally the temp with prime95 hits 76c.

Is Prime 95 or OCCT the main or indeed any use for you and your system?? If you intend to base your systems day to day use around these programs use em. Otherwise the best and only stability test worth anything for your system is to use it yourself. This way you know if its stable for the tasks you do.

Thanks 8 Pack ;) I've long thought exactly that myself, however it does become confusing when almost everyone is saying stress test after Overclocking. If I hadn't have read what they say, I'd have just gone ahead into BIOS entered 45 or 46 and see what happened, if it crashed fine, but if not I'd have been totally happy, guess I'll just ignore the paranoia about prime etc from now on
