Instead of buying a mobile Internet dongle I've been thinking of using my mobile phone instead for mobile Internet. I've got a Nokia 2330 Classic on T-Mobile PAYG. I've just tested it with my Nokia N800 connecting it via bluetooth and it worked fine.

If I buy a bluetooth adapter for my laptop I'm guessing I can tether the phone to it and use it as a modem to connect to the Internet (I think Nokia's Ovi Suite will need to be installed to do this). My only worry is the cost per megabyte of data and the limit. Is there anyway I can find out this information? I've used a Vodafone dongle before and the software would tell you how much bandwidth you had used in any session and how much credit was used but obviously I won't have this doing it this way.

T-Mobile PAYG should be £1 cap per day with 30MB FUP a day.

You can pay £5 a month for 1GB FUP, or pay £20 for 6 months with 1GB FUP a month.

get a payg dongle?
the soft will tell you what you used etc and allow you to connect by gprs if you dont get 3g

There are hundreds of free utils you can install on the PC for internet usage monitoring, to tell you exactly how much has been used. Some can even be set to warn when you are getting near your allowance. They were essential back in the old days of metered dial-up.
