Tetris

Hmmm very interesting movie.

Will watch it to find what true story is about.

I googled it found movie was shot in Glasgow and Aberdeen locations in Scotland. Wow very interesting.

Oh it will available on Apple TV+ app. Hopefully it will be on Amazon Prime.

Did anyone else read this post in Mordin's voice from Mass Effect?

Back on topic; I'll check this film out, interesting to see how it fares

Taron slowly becoming one of my favourite actors, loved him in this and Black Bird.
Excellent sound track https://music.amazon.com/albums/B0BXYKXFKB
Good use of pixel CGI or whatever you want to call it, pretty neat
Some people might find it a bit boring as it's not an action movie but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

8/10 from me.

Just finished watching it, it was a good film, while I knew most of the Tetris story anyway, it was nice to get more details on the licensing battle that went on behind the scenes.

I can only assume that Maxwells greed was responsible for his sudden mysterious death.

Yes, large areas of Aberdeen can be proxies for soviet Russia with its dour grey concrete architecture, all they had to do was cover road signs and leave some Ladas about the place  The director grew up in Peterhead I think it was, just up the road.

The trailer for it makes it look quite good.

Edit: You can actually see the Northfield tower in the trailer in the shot with the concrete blocks of flats (looks like they've just taken a panning shot of Aberdeen from the above the beachfront and CGI'd in more tower blocks).

I enjoyed it, but I wish there was more about the game than the rights contract. Would like to have seen more on the Nintendo side of things, especially.

I really enjoyed it.. so much so I grabbed the DMG and the advance out and smashed a couple of rounds of Tetris after watching it :)
