Tevez hands in transfer request

Who is on par with Tevez's quality that would want to go to City?
Edin Dzeko imo not on Tevez terms but is proven in a good league. There is the young argie from River Plate but unproven. Then there is Torres who is a proven goalscorer when fully fit and still manages a good amount of goals.
All of them would join i reckon.

Can't speak for Dzeko's mindset, but Torres is more than a longshot for you guys; didn't he reject more money to go to the, at the time, European champions Liverpool?

Well Dzeko has talked about coming here and has 'sent' us a letter. Torres i agree probably is but i would have said the same for Robinho/Tevez/Adebayor etc

All three have two things in common though - they like plating as much of their furniture and household pets as possible in gold, and had problems with the management of their previous clubs.

Torres on the contrary has shown that he values success more than money, and the Liverstool hierarchy have let el transvestite know they are keen to keep him.

Not a goer methinks.

I heard Crouch will be a free agent in January.
:D

What's his name? Wil... [Wilshire]? No, I don't know him, but the next time I play against Arsenal I will keep a close eye on him. Perhaps I can show him the Golden Boy trophy and remind him that I won it.

There's only one that is a little stronger than me: Messi. All the others are behind me.

I am delighted to receive the award, but who should have won it but me? Two years ago I finished sixth and then fourth in 2009. It was finally my turn. My aim is that this prize will transform itself into the Ballon d'Or. To have won this award is a good omen to achieve that.

For 2011 I want the Premier League, in order to continue with the tradition I had at Inter of winning three consecutive titles, and to clinch the Europa League, a trophy I have not yet won and a competition where we are considered favourites.
Nice guy.

he has

What's he won at Liverpool? What did he win at Madrid?
Ah, but he hardly knew that going in, did he? :p

Point is he rejected higher offers to go a club whom he could have reasonably expected to have gone onto further successes after winning the Champions League. How it subsequently turned out doesn't effect how he reasoned out his choice at the time.

I agree about his loyalty though, which should prevent him leaving in the first place and even less so for Mancenary City.

Just read what Balotelli has said...and hahaha :D

If he was that amazing he would have scored a hat-trick against us yesterday! What a tit!

Got to have confidence in your own ability :p

Personally i can see him becoming a 'great' player, you can see his ability but his temperament over rules him sometimes.
tbh if he had run a total of 10m but still scored when he hit the post i wouldn't have cared and in todays papers he would have been praised like the new Maradona. The way he brought the ball down from Yaya was world class and then flicked it over Howard was class as well.
