Tevez hands in transfer request

If Tevez moves to anywhere bar Boca then that is out of order.

You need to calm down mate. Your reaction to this when the club statement came out was mental, let him rot in the reserves, wtf?! He WAS our season last season! It's well known he has a suppository for an agent and the clubs statement clearly directs blame deliberately in his direction. Tevez is far from squeaky clean but show a little respect for what he's done so far eh?

Exactly my point, he went from

"I won't believe it until there's an official statement"

to......

"Let him rot in the reserves, we can sign Dzeko, Eto'o..........."

Fickle fan is fickle and also a transfer muppet.

ROLLEYEZ!!!!

Why? It is out of order because he keeps saying he wants to go back to his children which are in Argentina so going to Madrid etc wont help that will it? Well if he doesnt want to play for us, puts in a transfer request despite all the interviews claiming he isnt going anywhere Mancini will take the same actions like he did with Bellamy. I have mountains of respect for Tevez, he nearly fired us to champions league inside a year. The post your refering to was just in the heat of the moment. Much like a lot of utd fans when Rooney claimed he was leaving.

Yeh i am fickle
Its the way Tevez has been and to come out with this just annoyed me, i didnt mean for him to go in the reserves but wouldnt be suprised if Mancini did that as he has a tough enough job as it it, never mind managing someone who is trying to leave.

I see this discussion both ways, but lets be realistic here, he's the highest paid player in the Premiership, and his job is to be a footballer and club captain, it's not like he's doing anything unexpected by playing well and working hard. For £200k or whatever he's on, you expect him to be working his balls off every game, staying latest at training, then doing a few hours of charity work, then doing interviews. He's on £200k! He's getting well, well compensated for running around for 90 minutes a few times a week, it's not something which commands that much respect, it's just an expectation I'd say

Not convinced by this tbh

Kia jorabchin is said to be the man who has done it as a attempt at 'revenge' for Tevez dropping him or something. For that reason i dont believe any of this until i log onto www.mcfc.co.uk tomorrow and see the headline.
Meanwhile i am firing up FM and scouting potential replacements :p
Seriously though i see a Dzeko, Torres (surely he wants to leave?), Aguero or someone like Benzema although the latter is looking doubtful seeing as Higuain is injured.

He is going no where though, he can rot in the reserves after what he has said and done and now he comes out with this i hope he never plays for us again.
Absolute disgrace.
Step in Dzeko.

Like I said you're a fickle muppet.

You back track so often it's hilarious :D

Put down Football Manager and step into the real world every now and again.

Was shocked initially when I seen this today but on reflection I suppose the rumblings coming from Tevez and Man City suggested a parting eventually to take place.

Will be interesting to see if he goes home to Argentina like he seems so keen to do or if he'll try and get another European club to take him on. Plenty of clubs will be interested I'm sure.

Would like to see him return to Old Trafford but I guess it's highly, highly unlikely.

I can't disagree with that. What irks me is fans turning on players at the first hint of them leaving. We don't know the whole story, we don't know all the reasons. First sign of him being off and it's jump on the "**** him!!" bandwagon. It's a really tiring attitude. When an employee wants to leave a company the company doesn't go out of it's way to hamper him in the future and call him every name under the sun, they give him a reference and wish him well (or they certainly should do!).

Well I'm not so that's wrong.
You find that hilarious? Wow you have a bad sense of humor.
Put down? FM isn't a physical object you know? I am in the real world, the fact is that Tevez probably doesnt want to be here so whats wrong with saying he should go in the reserves? If he doesn't want to play for us why should we act as if nothings happen and keep playing him. Fact is no one is bigger than the team and like with Bellamy as much as I want to keep him because of how good he is if he is sacrificed then so be it.

Yep definitely agree on that point, but 75% of football fans are fickle and reactionary so you've definitely chose the wrong sport if those sort of people irk you, I find it much easier to ignore people like that and disregard what they say, rather than let it get to me.

"No-one is bigger than the club" - Only works for me, when the club has a good/great history.

And no offense but I don't think like that about City.

Tevez would get a bigger club than City - therefore, a sentence like that comes off as a bit bitter.

I know, but I'm a City fan, which makes me both a glutton for punishment and to all intents and purposes a complete idiot. :D

let's face it city have no history if u were a true footballer u would wanna go to a club with history where the greatest players have played maybe mourinho might be in for tevez at Madrid cos tevez works for the team something that mourinho likes and higuain Is injured.

Maybe your right, I think I have fallen for the 'lots of money..were the best in the world now' :(
But still the club comes before Tevez.

You're wrong if you think history has any bearing on the decisions of the modern footballer, they have no respect for anything like that, just the numbers on their wage slip I'm afraid. That's certainly not the reason Tevez is thinking of leaving anyway. Can you imagine a player turning down Chelsea because they don't have 'history' :D?

Depends on your perception of 'big' club I guess.

Chelsea for example are a club that for me don't tick all the boxes for being a huge club but for some they would find that laughable because of their recent on-field success and off-field financial clout.

It's a view for some people that City are the biggest club in the world because they have most money and therefore have no restrictions. I'd re-word that and say that they have unlimited potential whilst the money is there.

you're entirely wrong to say that.

City offer a player 260k a week.
Real Madrid offer them 255k a week.

99% of the time they aren't going to City, yet City can offer bigger wages. Or do you dispute that?
