Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Its rather disappointing, there is no way it is gruesome enough to have been banned for all those years. Its also rather **** as a film too. :confused:
 
watching it now, a lot better i think that the original.

Off Topic, I used one once to cut some hedges down, scared the hell out of me. Not a nice thing to use those chainsaw's

PS: the one Channel 4 is NOT the one that was banned, this is the remake from 2004. Marcu Nispel's remake.
 
isnt the action of cutting someone up enough, the implication and knowledge of the action is enough you dont need to see butchery. making masks from the victims my god what more do you need.
 
The original was better because it was 30 (?) years ago.

Seen this version before and is pretty lame.

Group of Kids / Inbred Americans / Chainsaw / Blood / The End.

I've not seen the remake but I thought the original was pretty amazing even by todays standards, let alone 30 odd years ago.

I have taped the remake and plan to watch it later, I'm not expecting much to be honest. Oh well, at least it has Jessica Biel in it <3

To the people that dont know the footage was completely fake, the story is fictional and along with other similar horror movies it was based off of Ed Gein
 
I really dislike a lot of modern horror movies, they seem to have increased in violence (showing terrible horrific acts) but decreased their charm and decreased focusing on the psychology of the killer. The bad guys are just lame now they just always seem to be angry disfigured people, and they dont bother to develope their character.

Not only her posterior but all the other parts of her as well. She has to be the most perfect specimen of woman ever conceived! :p

I surprisingly quite enjoyed the film. I havn't seen the original so i've nothing really to compare it to. I would have thought Jessica Biels character would have been killed off at the end though.

Anyway, i 'm off to rent Stealth out to have another perv at Jess! :p

Nah to obusy oggling her awesome jiggling norks tbh :cool: :D Good thing i have this on dvd...think ill have a watch of it later tonight and slow mo the bits with Jessica Biel :p
