Text attached to photos

Is there anyway I can attach a text file to a photo file in some way?

They don't need to be both viewed simultaneously, but attached/linked in some way?

What I mean by this is:

Say you see a website photo(or any savable image) you want. You save the photo to your drive as a jpeg. But you want the 300w text explanation to accompany the pic. HOW can this be done, if at all?

You can add it to the IPTC data.

In the Finder select the file and do Apple-I to bring up the Get Info box, right at the top is an area for entering Spotlight comments.

However!....

The spotlight's comments box is rather small! Difficult to quickly see a large bit of text in it!

Tried expanding it, but seems a no no
