Hi All and especially to Simon and PCM2,

It would be most interesting if TFT Central and/or PC Monitors Org could organise a test of the following monitors, for text readability purposes, with the Windows Font Size set so that the resulting virtual(?) Dot Pitch is around 0.3596. For example on my Dell ST2220T I have the Windows Font Size set to 145%.

Samsung S27A650D
Samsung S27A850DS
HP ZR2740w

Samsung S24A850DW
NEC P241W-BK
HP ZR2440W
Dell U2412M
Samsung S24A650D/S24A650S

Perhaps you could pool your resources together to conduct such a test?

What I would like to ascertain, for example, is a 27" monitor with a 2560×1440 resolution (Windows Font Size @ 154%) easier for text reading than a 27" monitor with a 1920 x 1080 resolution (Windows Font Size @ 116%)?

Would a monitor with a higher resolution always win out?

How much effect does Panel Technology have (i.e. *IPS, *PVA, *MVA, PLS)?

Thanks,
