I can type faster than i can write and i'm thinking about getting a laptop for taking notes in lectures. Since i am doing a physics degree a lot of the notes are interspersed by equations and diagrams, is their some software i can use with a graphics tablet that would let me write equations as well as draw diagrams? Equation editor in MS word is very slow and clunky so not really an option.
The software would have to be quite versatile to distinguish between the greek and english alphabet and to know how formulas are laid out.
If anyone who can recommend something that fits the bill that would be great, if it doesn't exist i probably won't bother getting a laptop.
