Text replaced by Icons

Quick questin that may be easily answered, when Mrs S and a few others that I know who have Sony Xperia 3's type certain words in messaging apps, the word gets replaced by an image of what they have actually typed (wine being an example).

The thing is, I dont seem to be able to do this on my Note 4.....is this a limitation of the Note 4 or is there a magic setting somewhere that I can change to make it happen?

Because I havent got it now and it is something that is bugging me as to how it works........

It's a feature of Sony's, not Samsung. My Mrs also wants this feature on her Galaxy S3 as I have it on my Z2.

It's the Xperia keyboard. I've switched over the Google keyboard and no longer have text replaced by icons which is sometimes a good thing but each to their own.

Swype keyboard has started to implement this if you want it on something other than a Sony.

It's emoji support, japanese manufacturers have it natively. Keyboards and apps can support it independently (eg whatsapp supports it native) but it's best when both the keyboard and the app do like swype and whatsapp or swiftkey + hangouts.

Google Keyboard can do it, if you so wish.
