Hi guys, need some help as I'm a bit of a phone noob.

I got a Google Pixel 7a, not had it that long, everything was fine, then out of the blue the size of the font on this OCUK app went very small, I'm struggling to it, and my eyesight is ok.

I went into settings and font size but this only seems to affect certain things, outside of the app.

It's the same for chrome I'm guessing they are linked?

I looked in chrome settings as well but couldn't see anything obvious about changing the font size.

Edit, tried messing with the font scaling in chrome, which only makes the text bigger or smaller when typing.

But once posted it's tiny again.

Have you tried other browsers to see if they're affected as well? Forums looks fine for me under both Firefox and Vivaldi, using Pixel 6 Pro. I don't have Chrome enabled but in the Chrome settings, is there an accessibility option? For both Firefox and Vivaldi the font scaling option is there.

If you click the 3 dots, does it show you as using the "Desktop Site" mode?

Makes quite a difference and increasing the default font sizes on the screen.

Thanks for the replies.

I've put screenshots, you can see how small the text is on the forum Vs web.

When I go to phone settings increase font size, all it does is increase the size of the text (as noted font size in the screen) but the actual size of the text on the forum doesn't change.

It's not the phone settings you need to go into, it's the Chrome accessibility settings you need to check:

I use firefox on android, I'm fine with the text size, but occasionally it'll bug out and be bigger. Defo makes sense to have a setting so ppl can choose the size they need.

The size of the time and battery values at the top seem quite large. I'm also using a Samsung but have both font size and zoom/scaling set fairly low. Just like @smokedog , i'm using a Samsung (S23U) and this is a screenshot from my phone right now:

Fixed it!

How annoying, it wasn't the text scaling or size at all, but it was the display size option, which just makes everything bigger.

Thanks all, bloody phones.
