hi guys. looking for a bit of advice really

pretty sick of removing my iphone [3gs if it makes any odds] from its dock to send text messages whilst at my computer. [windows pc, not a mac]
is there any way to text via my phone using my computer keyboard rather than removing the phone from the dock every time i need to text?

thanks for any replies

I'm suPrised that there isnt some sort of app that would allow you to do this... It may be worth looking on the app store to see if there is anything out there...

so no well known app i wasnt aware of then?

shame.

app makers - go forth and use my idea.

i will only charge 10% comission ;)

bah
ideally wanted something to come up on my screen with my iphone screen so i could control it through that.
seen it as a feature on a friends android phone.
never mind

Yep, would love something like this too. Back in the day of my old Sony Ericcson I used floats mobile agent - did everything.

all Myphonedesktop does is put it in the copy/paste menu and then open the sms app on the iphone, so you still have to paste and send manually on the iphone.

That's a solution but not a full blown solution as it's another device to be carrying around with you.

Why would you need to carry it around? It's only going to be used when the iPhone is docked. Just like the iPad dock/keyboard that you can buy.
