TF 2 questions

As im considering getting back into PC games "if" i buy a new PC im after an fps to play.

I played this on the xbox some years ago and although i liked it, it just didnt feel right.
not talking about using a pad but i'd shoot 100's of bullets into someone and they didnt die.
maybe the hit detection was pants or maybe i was or maybe both ?

4 questions:

  1. is it the most played FPS on PC ?
  2. does it use dedicated servers? (i miss them)
  3. can you practice on bots ?
  4. does it play better than on the xbox 360

3. PC has training mode
4. Infinitely so

The console versions don't even deserve the TF2 name. The PC version has so much more content, scope and re playability.
 
1. No, but around 22k play it.

2. Yes.

3. Yes, there is a training mode and training maps like tr_walkway that uses bots.

4. Miles better, updates, new content ect. There's going to be another update soon actually.
 
I can't think of a gun that can fire hundreds of bullets. TF2 isn't that kind of game.

The 360 version is absolutely terrible compared to the PC one. The 360 one feels like it's in slow motion. My friend made me rent Orange Box on the 360 because he refuses to play with a keyboard and mouse, and it was terrible. Felt so nice going back to the PC version.
