TF2 - 2 new maps and 'large scale' gameplay shift

Be interesting to see when they debut this counter to the ubercharge they were talking about a few months ago. New maps obviously welcome as well, need more ctf maps as i feel that the point capture maps are just whored by medics and heavys.

Well actually, it never seems to be used very well on my team :) I've been playing medic a lot more recently but I can never seem to get people to properly take advantage of my ubercharge.

Some servers it can be a pain in the ass, the ones i play on the uber\heavy combo just totally dominates some of the ctp maps, pratically the same out come every time with one or 2 ubered heavies holding us back while 4 or more of their team cap the point. I think its well in need of a counter myself, these days i rarely even play the ctp maps and stick mainly to 2fort.
 
I hope they add explosives for the demo guy and give the flamer a bit more something because at the moment for what he is (close encounter expert) the damage really sucks. they need to give him napalm bombs or something.
 
Maybe have it so that ubered players can hurt enemies who are ubered? Or make it so the medic himself isn't ubered? Will be interesting to see what they do anyway :)
 
Hope it gives the Med ability to spread the infections again that was well cool last time.

That was the most fun aspect of the medic, and I was gutted that they'd taken it out. There was nothing more fun than sitting outside the oposition spawn infecting everyone that comes out and then watching the mad panic as they run round like headless chickens trying not to infect anyone else. :D
 
There was always a noob on the team that ran back to spawn for health and infected everyone else :(

Both these features were implimented, tested, and then removed during the development of TF2.

Im also slightly concerned with the planned changes... I absolutley LOVE TF2 at the moment, I just hope they dont mess with it too much and ruin it.
