TF2 crashes a lot!

This is really starting to **** me off. The past two evenings I've been enjoying some TF2 and then I get "hl2.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close". Anyone else experiencing this?

Does it occur with other Valve games?

I don't recall it ever happening with HL2 when I used to play it.

Are you on Vista? I get/got that a lot with some games on Vista, I had to add them to the DEP exception and all was good, had to do it for all the orginal HL games (Blue Shift, Opposing Force).

No, still on XP. I have got my cpu overclocked and I think I may need to push a few more volts through it as its still @ default. Might be causing the instability.

Run prime and find out.
