TF2 Crashing and Vista Solution!!!!

Been having loads of problems trying to get this running on my machine,

Quad core
4 gig ram
2900XT

So anyways disabled aero glass and changed the hl2.exe in the tf2 folder to run under compatibility mode and voila it's working with no issues.

Hopes this helps some other people out.

Mine crashes about 80% of the time I play but can't figure out if its PC or just the game as CS:S doesn't crash or Tiger Woods 08!
