Bill's hat only came with a preorder of L4D2 unless I'm mistaken. I doubt anyone would want to give that up.

I stopped playing TF2 when they introduced the steam wallet. I don't even have it installed now.

People do keep on trading them as it's part of the currency and they go for around 4.5 keys last time i checked.

Seriously though, they don't really do anything other than make you look ultra cool and make all the women want you. I don't see the appeal to be honest.

Just ignore them. Whenever someone makes a thread about TF2 people come in acting like its the end of the world, the addition of hats and alternative weapons and gameplays has completely stripped every single part of fun away from the game.

Lol confused by all the crafting. Surprised you know how to turn on a computer.

But to answer the OP, Bill's hat is very valuable and as mentioned is used as a type of 'currency' for keys/unusual hats.

You're on a computer hardware forum and you don't understand 1 weapon + 1 weapon = scrap metal? Or 3 scrap metal combined = reclaimed metal. Oh, I guess primary school maths is quite confusing.

TF2 got ruined when it became "cool" to bash it for having hats and a store. If you don't care about all that, just play the damn game as normal. The hats don't make you play better.
