TF2 Map: Goldrush.

Looks pretty cool, although the last part of the fly through (*flying towards 'c') looks very similar to the final dustbowl cap point. I hope it isnt just a re-hash :(

Valve are increasingly becoming one of the best game devs/producer in the PC scene.

Can't wait.

Personally i think they acheived that status long ago with half life. Whereas companies like id seem to have went downhill with their multiplayer focus always being the same in their games.

looks nice and i really love tf2 but been busy with cod4 and other stuff at the moment. i will sure be back to 2fort and dustbowl soon :)

i think at the time Halflife was around, there were a lot of decent independant games stuidos about

what's set them apart, is that the trend at the moment is to become swallowed up by a bigger coroporation, and to follow the EA model of peddling the same thing over and over again.

Valve are one of the few studios, like Rockstar, doing their own thing, doing it well and continually producing stuff thats what the fans want, rather than concentrating on how to make as much money as possible.

Yup, valve seem to care more about content instead of whoring out an engine like other companies. Im really suprised how id software has went though, every game they bring out the mp is just plain old 1994 snorefest deathmatch with the usual quake style tossed into it. Talk abut resting on your laurels, its like they dont even want to attempt anything new that would appeal to a wider audience instead of catering to the ever dwindling deathmatch fanbase.
