TF2 OCUK dead ?

What happened to the 3 ocuk TF2 servers ? :(
Theve not been showing in my favorites the past week or so. No one playing this anymore ?
Need some new i.p's for my list :)
 
Don't you just go on a server with the most people and lowest ping :/ I've never understood why people go to the same server over and over again, unless of course they are in a clan!
 
yer never understood that one either! :S

plus frostednipple u need to change ure location me thinks... (withing isnt a word:P)
 
You can get a good group of regulars going to the same server, like Doomy's for example. I was playing on the OcUK one for a while, well the one in my favourites anyway, but no one is playing on there anymore.

I would rather play with a few people who I know can be challenging than play with a load of players who are new to the game or whatever.
 
Jimi speaks the truth, I try and limit myself to 2 or 3 servers, makes it more interesting and less random.

edit: wow 101 posts, don't think i've ever had more than 50 on any internet forum before.

theres sooo many sucky servers, i find a few good 1's and stick to them.
A good server makes a multiplay game.
 
Whenever I look at the server browser to find the ocuk servers empty I am disappointed because it means I'll have to play with random people...
well, slightly more random people :p I don't know why it is but having a few ocuk people makes it seem more cooperative.

Have been wondering where they've gone and was just about to make a thread about this till I saw this one. It seems strange that all of them have gone given that they were run by two different people
 
I think we need to start using the Steam Community. There's 722 members at the moment on there, and I can't ever remember seeing any events being organized.

We need to get Zefan to start an event so we can all play against each other for an hour one night a week or something like that. What do you guys think?

We need admins of the ocuk community that are actually online.

You can't really jump around from server to server i find. although i do look for the biggest server available at the lowest ping. but i try to keep myself to going back to the same few servers.
 
I always tend to stick to the same servers too, games are always far better when you recognise who you're playing with/against. If you're after a new server Kezmo get on Doomy's, the best place to be, I'm Bully? on there :)
 
I tend to stick to the same servers or follow friends into others. I rarely look at the full server listing. Its always Friends playing, Favourites, and then history.

I never play on the TF2 OCUK servers. There is no way I am putting myself into the position where I could be kicked to make way for a reserved slot player. Especially as it proved very popular!
 
I don't understand why people are bothered about the reserved slots.. It's pretty rare that the server is full and someone with a reserved slot comes on at the same time. Even then your chances of getting kicked are very slim unless you've only just joined, as it kicks the person who has been there the least time - so you won't have had enough time to have settled into the game enough for it to matter. Even if you do get kicked the chances are someone else will have left within a couple of minutes and you can rejoin.

Yes I do have a reserved slot (well I would :p) but I am happy to join any servers with reserved slots.
 
So are the ocuk servers still up ? as theve vanished from my steam favorites :confused:
Any 1 got the i.ps , the single i.p listed on the community page is showing up as a csspro mod server:confused:
