TF2 problem

Just installed TF2 and accidently clicked on a resolution my monitor does not support, however it won't let me change back. It just goes black and says input not supported. How can i force the game to start at a lower and valid resolution?

can you not pass the arguements when running the executable eg:

tf2.exe -resolution1024x1280

sorry thats not much use as it stands, but it could give you a direction to google in
 
Put into the launch options (right click -> properties)
-width xxxx -height yyy
where xxxx and yyy are a sensible resolution.
Then you can change it in game and remove it from the launch options, or just leave it there.

thats what i tried to say, but not as clear as that :)
