TF2 pyros and uber

Can anyone explain why it is that the pyro when he's ubered in tf2 seems to be able to still move forward pretty easily when hes being pounded by a fully powered sentry compared to the rest of the classes?

And before anyone says it, no the medic was not taking he hits for him. Any other class seems to get totally bogged down but for some reason the pyro seems to be able to move forwards through the gunfire pretty easily.


Also is there any word on a counter to the uber? I remember some talk of it a whiile back but not lately. Dunno if its just me but the game as of late is geting pretty boring, especially on maps like 2fort where it seems that snipers wage thier own boring little war shooting only other snipers (omg im top of kills lolol!!!!!11). And the tactic of choice for most teams seems to be hide in sewers with medic, wait till ubercharge is powered then bust out of sewers scoring a few kills then repeat.

I dunno what it is, i enjoy the game but maps like 2fort seem to be getting to be boring exercises in repetition. :(
 
Well the pyro is generally going to be a bit quicker on his feet, than the normal "uber guys" like the heavy, soldier and demoman. Though imo it could just be in your mind as pyro is able to take down a sentry very quickly when he is close enough and therefore makes him pretty much the perfect "uber guy".
 
Pyros always seem to be able to randomly kill my lvl 3 sentry, happens quite often. Thats WITHOUT UBER. Any other class the sentry turns an destroys them, but it moves slower for Pyros, its a setup!

Ubers can be split up with airblast, stickies, sentry knockback, rocket juggle.. it's really quite balanced.

Well tbh, if the medic is any good; they should run in front of the pyro towards the sentry and take all the flak, and then run around it at point blank distance. By doing this the sentry is kept busy with the medic and pyro can do whats likes whilst unber'd, such as destroying the engie and all his gear. ;)

Pyro’s aren’t slow either, I hate them with passion ever since 2nd tier items.

If a sentry is near a corner nearly class can run round it and not get hurt for a second or two, its just the pyro is the only one with the firepower to take it out in that time.

Also spys can backstab the engi and spin round the sentry while placing a sapper so not to die.
